why i love my friends so much.

Our friendly blue crew end of the year picnic turned chaotic. Only a few of us showed up...the OG blue crew members...we grilled and danced and acted ratchet, as usual...but then cake was thrown...Cake, lemonade, ketchup, mustard, and water were all involved. But it was one of those nights that I absolutely love and will miss dearly over the summer.

I'm still not quite sure what I'm going to do over the summer without this girl right here. I would have never imagined that over the course of 10 months, me and Ashley would have ever gotten this close. We met on facebook on a whim, and decided to become roommates the week before move-in day. I remember the first few days together were quiet and awakward--we're both really quiet people. I dont know when the turning point actually occured with us, but ever since then we grow closer everyday. We've been through so much together. We always have each other's backs. What's mine is hers, and vice versa. We take care of each other. We make fun of each other....I could go on and on.

I couldnt have asked for a better roomie. I know sooo many people who dont get along with theirs at all. And im just sitting here likeeee...well I love Ashley!!

We're going to be emotional wrecks the last day of school...I'm not looking forward to it. But hopefully I can visit her over the summer if I have time...and money.

Yesterday was GORGEOUS up here in dc. Temperature in the mid 70s, sunshine, a breeze...all that. It was perfect! My girls and I had said that we were going to have a picnic the first nice day of spring we see. So sunday night, we went grocery shopping for picnic foods and supplies, sent out ratchet invitations to all our friends, and the next day we had our picnic! It was last minute, but turned out to be EPIC. Everyone pitched in and brought something, and we had so many people to come through! It was honestly one of the most memorable days of HU I've had thus far :D

90's baby.

One of our dorms had a 90's themed party last night...but come to think of it, they played NO 90's music. Wtf? Anyways, people here at HU can be lame sometimes when it comes to themes, but my friends and I decided to go all out with our outfits. Pulled out the high-waisted shorts, graphic tees, keds, and swishy jackets! We had so much fun. Here are a few pics from my webcam; I'll force my girlfriend to put the better ones up later today.
