Im putting those three symbols down my side, probably with the two verses above and beneath them. The first symbol stands for humilty and strength [rams horns...a ram will fight against an enemy, but will also submit to defeat...that kinda idea], the second and third both stand for guardianship and protection.

The place that pierced the sides of my bellybutton the other day [which i never posted about] is having a holiday special where they are doing $20 tats and $15 piercings...so of course im gonna take advantage! :] Im excited. Im gonna get it over chirstmas break.

Ok so like I said, I got my second set of tats today...so its really like my second tattoo, but at the same time, its really my 3rd and fourth :P. But, I ended up getting the bows on my hips that I spoke about, soooo here they are!

I love them! They're kinda sore now though because they're already starting to scab up :[. But my wing tats only peeled for like 4 days, so hopefully these will heal quickly too. BUT LET ME TELL YOU, THIS SHIT HURT LIKE HELL. I have a pretty high pain tolerance, I think its safe to say, but when I tell you that I was ready to change my mind &&only get one bow for a few seconds, like Im not kidding. It was so bad, that I literally could not breathe. The pain just took my breath away, no lie. &&It seemed like it was taking an eternity to finish. I died a little bit on the inside everytime the needle touched my skin. It was badddd, haha. But he said the hips are one of the most sensitive places to get tatted, so it was expected...but gahhhdamn, I didnt think itd be THAT bad. Glad its over, &&I loveeee the end product, so its all gucci :]. I gotta tell my mama today :P. She'll probaby freak, but its expected lol.

Ok, so I was thinking about everything I wanted, and where to get them. &&Im pretty sure Ive figured it out for good. So obviously, Im gonna finish my wings by putting the 'alis volat propiis' in between them in some fancy script. Beside my right boobie [hahaha, sorry] Im gonna put psalm 27:1, my favorite verse, realll little in some cute font. Under that on my side Im gonna put my music quote in the shape of a treble cleft, instead of how I originally wanted it. On my other side, me and my cousin are going to get matching chinese symbols of...something, we dont know yet. I want an iris like my daddy's on one of my feet. &&Then my other two possible ones are two diamonds or two ribbons on my hipbones. Then Ill be done, until I have children :P.

Sounds good, ya? Hah...now where will I get this money...I want to get aleast two done before I leave!

Okay so in a post not too long ago I was talking about some tattoo ideas, and one of them was the backward treble cleft with my name spelled out beside it or whatever. I love that idea, but then I thought about it and was like...I dont wanna tat my name on me. Thats pointless. So I went and searched some quotes about singing instead. I like this one from Mark Twain, one of my favorite authors by the way, the best thus far:

“Sing like no one's listening, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching, and live like its heaven on earth.”

So as of now thats the one Im going with. Obviously the first S will be the treble cleft. &&I realize that the entire quote isnt about singing, but I like the message its putting out about living life to the fullest. I was trying, and im still searching, for a good quote with both an S and a C in it, so I can make the C a bass cleft! That would make it perfect. So Im still looking. &&I have no idea where this is gonna go...either my side or hipbone area.

So I assume you're curious as to how my experience went. So here we go.

So I'm home bored...&&I'm like man, I want to either get a tat or piercing today. Nothing better to do, right? Hah. Anyways, so I told bb and he said he'd go with me. I went and picked em up, got there, nobody else waiting. Told em what I wanted, found a picture, paid em...and waited. For what seemed like forever! &&As time went on, I became more and more nervous...&&of course bb wasnt helping :P hehe jaykay! So finally I get called back, and the guy..mike I think..cleaned my back and put the lil stencil on, let me look at it and whatnot. &&Up until this point I was pretty cool! Then he adjusted the chair and sat me down...&&I heard the needle buzzing...&&I freaked out. I seriously got so scared at that point lol. But I just grabbed bb's hand...&&he started! &&Honestly it was not that bad at all. I mean yeah, it hurt...especially the shading ooomahhhgaddd...but other than that, it was definately bearable...&&I didnt cry :]

When I get some more money, I'll go get the words to go with it. But for now, I'm super happy with what I have! &&Sorry that I'm damn near naked in the pictures :P Hah!

Pretty soon I'll be getting my first tattoo! I would have had it already, but I just want to make sure that I'm absolutely positive about what it is, where it is, etc.

But today and and my cuzzo Andrea, who lives up in michigan &&is pretty much close enough to be my twin sister, were talking about tats, and thought it'd be a cool idea to get matching ones! I've always wanted to have a matching tattoo with somebody, but obviously my mama aint goin, and my sister still has 4 years until she's even legal to get one...so Andrea looks like my best bet for now, lmao. How cute would that be though?!

Right now we're still debating about where and what to get...but if anyone has suggestions, please feel free to give them!

We're both 18, born about a month apart [me in jan, and she in dec], have the same first initials [a], and are cousins...any ideas?!
