what im loving in my closet...

Denim;; demin everythinggg! shirts, vests, and of course jeans. lately ive been trying to buy jeans with cool washes and higher-waisted fits. i went to the thrift store the other day and bought two pairs of levi's (my fav); one is a light wash, and the other is a meduim-darkish one. im going to bleach the ligher pair and cut them up, and im going to make the other pair into shorts...i think. i might change my mind. i also have these pants which i loveee that are pin striped and kinda faded...and theyre baggy! until i take full control of my weight, im refusing to wear tight jeans-- only leggings and baggy/boyfriend fits. or harem pants, which im wearing today :]

My moccasins;; everyone should own a pair of moccasins!! whether they be the classic type or boot type, they seriously are the best shoes ever. sooo comfy, and they go with just about anything because of the neutral color. i wear these bad boys allll the time. love, love, love.

My bag;; the one i have on is from target. I love it for soo many reasons. firstly, the adjustable strap. i usually wear it as a cross-body, but every now and then ill shorten it and just wear it under my arm. then, its big enough to double as a backpack. and the color goes with everyyyything. i got three more similar to it when i went to the thrift store the other day-all neutral colors :]

Vintage and feather jewelry;; big stones, porcelain, pearls, gold...the bigger the better. and broaches and pendants!! ahh yess. i got a handful when i went thrifting. and feathers just make me happy.

Lace tights and shorts;; as you can clearly see in my previous post. :]

Combat boots;; because they honestly go with EVERYTHING.

Aztec and native american prints;; because sometimes i like to pretend im a navajo indian. also evident in my previous post. i always make sure to wear moccasins whenever i have on that type of print :P

I love boobies!

Ever since Ive gotten addicted to tumblr, Ive been exposed to all these non-mainstream brands that Id never heard of or seen people wear...atleast not in nashville. I come up here, &&people have on supreme &&dirty ghetto kids &&johnny cupcakes &&mttm...&&Im sittin here like shit, let me step my game up!! Im about to order from ALL them hoes...when I get some mula :] Like im really into all these brands, especially kab [keep a breast] &&mttm [married to the mob] :D

things have gotten out of hand.

The majority of my time this week was dedicated to school shopping. But uhm...things have kinda taken a turn for the worst lol.

&&This isnt even everything. There are shopping bags lying all around my house. Our kitchen table cannot be eaten on as of right now. The family room downstairs looks like a freaking storage unit. Not to mention I still have to purchase my mini fridge.

My whole family is going up to dc with me, &&we are DRIVING. Efff. Haha. 12 hours of pure bliss, right? But basically the question now is, where the hell is all of this stuff gonna fit in the car? Because they gonna have luggage too! Pretty sure we're renting a uhaul. Like, am I overpacked? Hahahah. I feel like I have sooo much shit, but its not like Im just buying stuff for fun! This is stuff I seriously need. Oh geeze.

goodwill hunting.

So when I slept over Shels hosue the other day, we took a trip to goodwill, and I found some amazing pieces!

A hot pink blazer [for those who follow Dulce Candy, you may remember her outfit post with that pink blazer...bawwwse] &&two belts. I especially like the studded one :] Im so happy with my finds! Just needa figure out where imma rock that blazer...hmm.

&&Of course we had to get some crazy pictures in...[that was NOT the outfit I actually had on. Hah!]

goodwill.

Ever since I can remember, my family has always donated our old clothes and toys and whatnot to Goodwill. It goes without being said-every few months, we all clean out our closets and put together our donation to take down the street. For the past few years, my mama has started wanting to actually shop at Goodwill...just go in and look atleast. I always said NOOOO...like what the hell am I gonna find in Goodwill? Can't be serious. Had only shopped there once for a musical theater performance [I needed an 'old-timey' church dress]. But lately I started to actually consider going in for a little look around. People at my school would be wearing the cutest piece of clothing/shoes/etc..."where you get that?" "goodwill!" "wahhh?!".

So the day I went out shopping and got pierced up, I made a lil trip to my local Goodwill with Leah.

OHMAGAD.

If I had more money than I did when I went, I woulda bought up half that store! Not really...just exaggerating. But seriously I found sooo many cute shirts! Even one for my sis! Oh, and not to mention a polo tshirt. Polo as in RALPHIE. Hah.

But seriously...and everything was $5. I gotta go back on Sunday to catch the 99cent sale! I'm seriously in love with that store. Every piece that I've worn to school so far, I've had someone say "ohhh you look cute! where you get that shirt?!" The look on thier faces when I tell them Goodwill is priceless. I've had multiple people asking me to take them to Goodwill to shop. Hah. Love it!

But uhhh yea. Definately one of my new favorite stores. Glad I gave it a chance :]

This is the first pair of sneakers I've owned...in forever. But I love em! Not too flashy or colorful, just simple!

I can't waittttt until it starts getting warm and I can whip out my sandals again...and buy new ones!
